I have been busy at work today redesigning my blog. I think I finally found something I like. Hopefully I will keep this one awhile. :D Let me know what you think!
Did you design your blog yourself? I'd love to be able to do this to get mine to look "exactly" the way I want it instead of using someone's free template. Your blog is really nice :)
Thank you! That means so much to me! Yes I created it myself. This is my 3rd try at a blog design and I think I finally have one I will keep for a bit. Maybe some minor tweaking here and there. I tried the free templates, but it never really suited me and I would always find someone else with the same template. Honestly I did a ton of research in trying to figure out how to get everything the way I wanted it. There are a ton of DIY blog posts out there about different aspects of creating your own design. Let me know if you need some direction. I'd be happy to help! :D Best of luck to you!
Suzanne, I love what you did! What post/URL did you read to learn how to do this? I've run into the same problem: all the blog designs I love are either already being used by someone I know, or aren't quite "Me." I'd love to design my own! Any direction you could give would be greatly appreciated! Thank you! Carol
Thanks! I read so many different posts, but I started at Teaching Blog Addict under their Blogging 101 (http://www.teachingblogaddict.com/2011/07/blogging-tips-share.html). They had many teachers link up different tricks and tips. It was so helpful when I got started. There are still some posts I need to go back and view to change a few things. I just haven't yet. But the ladies at TBA do a great job of getting you started. After that, I just played around in Powerpoint to get the right design, colors, and shading. Hope that helps!
Very cute!
